Scotia, also commonly referred to as beading, is simply designed to cover the edge of the room where expansion gaps have been left during the fitting of your new floor.
Our MDF scotia is 18mm thick and supplied in set lengths of 2.4 metres, which are available in various colours to complement numerous flooring decors and skirting.
We normally recommend, that 18mm Thick MDF Snow Grey Oak Scotia Beading is nailed into the skirting, in conjunction with small amounts of Gripfill/Adhesive for a resilient bond.
